2024 Primary Election - Candidate Filing Period:
Monday, March 4, 2024 through Friday, March 22, 2024
Filing Office Open until 5:00 p.m. on 3/22/24
County Candidates – Marion County Auditor is filing officer
First day Auditor can receive Absentee Ballot Requests:
- Tuesday March 26, 2024
First day to Absentee Vote at Marion County Auditor's Office 214 E Main St Knoxville, IA, if ballots are ready
- Wednesday, May 15, 2024
- Office Hours: M-F - 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Please note ID required to participate.
First day the Auditor's Office can mail absentee ballots to voters who have submitted requests.
